My name is Stephanie Vaughan and I am a professionally trained funeral celebrant and member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants.
I consider it a great privilege to be the celebrant to facilitate a civil funeral service for family and friends who are grieving.
I perform funeral ceremonies which, depending on the beliefs of the family, may or may not have a religious element. This allows you to remember and celebrate your loved one in the manner which reflects how they lived their life.
The deceased all have their own unique life stories to commemorate. It is my honour and my responsibility to discover their distinctive character and present their history in a caring, compassionate and dignified way.

My funeral services are all bespoke; there really is no ‘one size fits all’. My promise to you is that on receiving instructions from your funeral director I will:

  • Visit you and your family as soon as possible to gather all of the information I can about your loved one
  • Liaise with you to ensure that the eulogy I create will be a fitting tribute
  • Write and structure a beautiful service to include poetry, readings, music, videos and photos to reflect your wishes, beliefs and values
  • Be available for support throughout the process
  • Work with your funeral director to ensure that the logistics of the day flow seamlessly
  • Provide you with a copy of the service after the ceremony, for you to cherish

Thank you for entrusting me to guide and assist you through this difficult time.
